Horrorhound Weekend March 2008

Horrorhound Magazine hosts one of the midwests biggest horror conventions in Indianapolis Indiana. This isn't your normal horror convention that consits of a few dealer tables and a few guests from films you've never heard of. This is a huge convention with some of the biggest names in the industry. Attendees will be blown away by the number of dealers and guests. Not to mention all the events that are packed into a weekend. Events ranging from discussion panels with the guests, costume contests, movie screenings, after parties, etc. There were also giveaways throughout the weekend as well as a huge promo table.

A short list of guests at Horrorhound Weekend March were Tom Savini, Doug Bradley, Ashley Laurence, Simon Bamford, Nicholas Vince, Danny Trejo, Chris Sarandon, Ellen Sandweiss, Kane Hodder, Reggie Bannister, Ruggero Deadato, Ricou Browning, Bill Moseley, Bill Johnson, and many many more.

Horrorhound Weekend was held at the Indianapolis Marriot East over the weekend of March 28-30. Tickets were $20 per day or just $45 for a weekend pass. Discounted hotel rooms were available to all attendees. Wreckhouse Magazine was able to attend Horrorhound Weekend March 2008 and we have to admit this is the best horror convention we've attended. There wasn't enough time in the weekend to check out and do everything we wanted to. One of the highlights of the weekend was being able to sit down and interview the legendary Bill Moseley. You can read the interview HERE. We can't wait until the next convention to see what surprises they'll have in store for the fans.

The dealer room was amazing. The guests were spread out through the room and available for autographs and pictures. It was full of your usual DVD, poster and toy dealer booths as well as booths from bigger companies such as Fearwerx and Night Of The Living Podcast. There were independant artists and writers, film makers promoting their latest releases, and even a sideshow featuring the fiji mermaid.
